The trademark registration certificate is downloaded online through the online trademark service system on the CNIPA Trademark Office website. After logging in with the account used to file the application, you can obtain the electronic registration certificate in the electronic service or certificate download section. If you filed through a trademark agency, the agency generally downloads the certificate and forwards it to the applicant.
Download Path for Self-Filers
- Open the CNIPA Trademark Office website and enter the online trademark service system;
- Log in with the user account and digital certificate used for the application (or by scanning a code);
- Find the electronic service or certificate download section in your account;
- Search by registration number and download the electronic trademark registration certificate in PDF format.
When You Filed Through a Trademark Agency
The CNIPA delivers the electronic certificate to the agency's system account. The applicant should obtain the original certificate file from the agency and keep a personal backup, while retaining the agency agreement and handover records, so that the certificate is not lost if the agency changes later.
Handling Download Problems
If you cannot find the certificate, first confirm that the registration publication has been issued and that the login account matches the application account. If the problem persists, you can report it through the CNIPA hotline or the message channel of the online service system, and engage a trademark agency to assist if necessary. After downloading, keep multiple backup copies and include the certificate in your corporate trademark archive.
In such situations, it is advisable to consult a recorded agent through MyTMBee first to assess whether archive management is needed before deciding on the next step.
